Who are you?
My name is Christina. I’m a 30-something stay-at-home mom. I love to read. I am a book hoarder. No, seriously, it’s a major problem. I am so glad for the invention of ebooks because I don’t have to worry so much about my book collection taking up too much room in my house. Now I just worry about running out of space on my hard drive or my reader.
What do you like to read?
I love to read m/m romances, mysteries, historical fiction, and YA fiction. I branch out from those genres sometimes, but those are my usual go-to’s.
Is this your first book blog?
No. I used to run a blog called “I Heart Paperbacks” a few years ago and hosted the M/M Romance Challenge for a time. I haven’t transferred any of my old reviews or posts from that site’s backup to Milky Tea Books as I’d like this new blog to be a fresh start. If you’d like to read some of my older reviews, most of them can be found here on Goodreads.
Do you take review requests?
No, I don’t. I just want to read and put a few thoughts down about it. I’d like this blog to be much more informal.
Where do you get the books you review?
For reasons of FTC Disclosure, please assume all books reviewed/discussed at Milky Tea Books were bought by me or borrowed from the library or friends, unless otherwise stated.
Books or ebooks?
Either. Or both. Whichever makes you happy. I’ve never understood the divide between readers on this issue. Isn’t it more important that we read as opposed to arguing over the format we choose to use?
What do you read your ebooks on?
I love reading on an eink screen! I love the portability and convenience of ebooks and ereaders. Currently, I'm using a new Kobo Glo HD as my main reader.
